Who We Are
Vancouver West Church is a Pentecostal church located in the heart of downtown Vancouver.
We are multicultural people dedicated to growing a community of Christ followers that will, in turn, impact our world. We believe that Jesus died for every person in the world and this belief can seen by the diverse social and cultural demographic of Vancouver West.
If you are looking for a place to grow in Christ and live life in community – we believe Vancouver West is the right place for you.
What to Expect
At Vancouver West you will experience Spirit-filled, biblical worship that involves singing, clapping hands, and lifted hands (Psalm 150). We believe strongly in the power of prayer and have been firsthand witnesses that God is still in the business of doing miracles — just like He did in the Bible.
Our Vision
It is our dream and passion to plant churches throughout the Vancouver metro area. This community of Christ followers will completely reflect the various ethnicities and cultures of our city. There is a societal phenomenon identified as ‘crowded loneliness.’ This loneliness issue is particularly prevalent in urban, modern culture where there are so many people and so few meaningful relationships. We believe that this is a need that will only be met by the discovery of a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. It is our goal to provide classes and activities that will introduce and nurture a relationship with Jesus Christ aimed for children, youth, men, and women.

Vancouver West Church is a part of the of The United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI), a Oneness Apostolic organization. Since the formation of UPCI in 1945, UPCI has been one of the fastest growing church organizations. Currently there is an estimated 3 million members globally. Each church under the organization is self-governing.
